Introducing The Orí Care Collective

​A Community Wellness Initiative for Women, Transgender, and Non-Binary Activists

​Presented in partnership with True Alchemy Gardens, a community wellness nonprofit based in Austell, Georgia.

At Love & Light Healing and The Alchemist Den, we have always believed that healing is not a luxury — it is a birthright. For years, we have quietly held space for those doing the deep, often invisible work of community care, justice, and spiritual resistance.

We are honored to introduce the Orí Care Collective — a trauma-informed community wellness initiative designed to support the emotional, spiritual, and physical restoration of women, transgender, and non-binary activists and defenders in our community.

Through meditation, breathwork, mindfulness practices, and restorative healing circles, this program creates space for participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and replenish the energy required for sustainable community care.

Why This Matters

The Orí Care Collective was born from listening. Through intimate sessions, client feedback, and countless conversations at our healing tables and community circles, we heard the same truths:

“I’m exhausted.”
“I don’t feel safe.”
“There’s no space for me to unravel.”
“Everyone needs me, but I’m pouring from an empty cup.”

This initiative responds directly to those needs by building a sustainable safety and care structure — one that is affirming, accessible, and rooted in ancestral wisdom.

Our meditation and mindfulness gatherings offer a rare opportunity for community leaders and caregivers to pause, breathe, and cultivate inner steadiness through contemplative practice.

What We’re Offering

​Monthly Meditation & Healing Circles
Hybrid (virtual and in-person) gatherings that include guided meditation, silent meditation practice, breathwork, and mindfulness reflection. These circles create space for rest, grounding, and emotional restoration.

Emergency Wellness Stipends
Financial support for rest, relocation, or immediate spiritual and emotional care.

Body-Based Wellness Services
Trauma-informed Reiki, abdominal/womb wellness support, and spiritual guidance.

Rest & Restoration Kits
Seasonal care packages that include herbal teas, affirmations, candles, and grounding tools to support meditation, mindfulness, and intentional rest.

Healing Justice Toolkit
A resource guide for peer facilitators offering trauma-informed, culturally rooted approaches to community care and contemplative practice.

Community Stewards
A growing network of volunteers and practitioners who reflect the sacred diversity of our community and help sustain spaces for meditation and healing.

How It’s Funded

​

We are currently seeking support through grants and community partnerships. The program is also supported through:

– The Alchemist Den (gathering space and in-kind resources)
– Love & Light Healing (practitioners and wellness services)
– In-kind donations from community partners
– A peer-based volunteer network of care stewards
